KCD acknowledges the value of providing educational workshops to provide the resources and strategies necessary to empower the Deaf communities to meet the challenging needs in their daily lives.
Knoxville Center of the Deaf (KCD) was established in December 1977 with a drive to provide communication access for all Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, and DeafDisabled individuals.
