Youth Program

The youth program was developed January 2004 in response to a need for leadership among the Deaf youth in Knoxville and surrounding area. The youth program is geared towards high school students from TSD and mainstream public schools. Karin Robertson, of TSD, and the staff at KCD have worked together to develop ways to motivate, encourage, and teach the Deaf youth. Meetings are held in the youth room at KCD, which has been established just for this group. It is a wonderful time of food, fun, and learning.
