Charis Davis is a Senior Staff Interpreter and Internship Coordinator. She is a 1986 graduate of Maryville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sign Language Interpreting. Charis began working for KCD in Dec. 1987. Prior to that, she worked as an interpreter/ job coach for Vocational Rehabilitation and worked mostly at the Knoxville Area Vocational School, now known as Tn. Technology Center. Charis currently holds the RID Certificate of Interpretation and Certificate of Transliteration. In her spare time, Charis enjoys spending time with her family and camping with her husband Richard.
